National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC) has floated a tender for the establishment of 200 MW solar power project in 600 GSECL (Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd) Solar Park at Khavda, Gujarat. This is for stage-1 of the solar park. The tender comes with e-reverse auction.

The bid validity is 120 days from the last date of submission of online bid. The EMD is INR Rs. 9,20,00,000/-.

Bidding starts on August 22, 2023 and the bid closes on August 29, 2023.

To qualify, the bidder’s average annual turnover in the preceding three years shall be not less than INR 217
Crores. The working capital (current assets minus current liabilities) shall be at least INR 120 crores.

The bidder should either be a single entity or a JV/ consortium formed for participating in the tendering for this project. The evaluation of bidder’s specific construction experience for a work executed on JV basis shall be based on his role and scope of work in such joint ventures. To establish his role and scope of work in such Joint Venture contracts, the bidder shall provide documentary evidence such as JV agreement/contract of the work to the extent of experience claimed by him. In case the quantum of work as per experience certificate does not match with the scope of work as defined in the JV/consortium agreement, then the experience credentials shall be considered as per the experience certificate issued by the employer / client.

1. In case the participation / profit sharing percentage of bidder as per JV agreement is at least 35%, full credit of the work executed by the JV/consortium shall be given to such bidder.
2. In case the participation / profit sharing percentage of bidder in JV agreement is less than 35%, credit of work executed under such JV shall be given to such bidder on pro-rata basis.
3. Notwithstanding (i) and (ii) above, in case of availability of specific experience certificate, (a) above shall apply.

Recently, NHPC entered into an MoU with GRIDCO for 2 GW pumped storage, 1 GW solar in Odisha.

Earlier, NHPC issued a tender to select solar power developer for 3 GW ISTS-connected solar projects.
