Nextracker reaches 5 GW milestone in deals with SWREL

Solar tracking and software solutions provider Nextracker has signed a multi-year volume commitment agreement with solar and storage PV projects developer Strata Clean Energy to supply 810 MW of trackers for large-scale solar power projects in Texas, Arizona, and Virginia of USA.

Nextracker said that consistent with its years-long campaign to grow its partnerships with US suppliers, much of the trackers will be sourced from US factories. The financial details of the deal are not yet disclosed.

Recently, IbVogt, German international solar developer, chose Nextracker to supply its NX Horizon-XTR solar tracker for the 150 MW Garnacha solar power project in Spain.

India’s Amara Raja Power has also said that it is purchasing Nextracker products for NTPC’s 1,850-hectare solar power project in in Rajasthan that will have a capacity of 306 MWp.
