NBCC Floats Tender for 450 kW Rooftop Solar Systems

NBCC has issued a tender for the installation of 450 kW rooftop solar systems at the residential and training complex for the SPG in Dwarka.

The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has issued a tender for the installation of 450 kW grid-connected rooftop solar systems at the residential and training complex for the Special Protection Group (SPG) in Dwarka.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the 450 kW solar systems on the rooftop of the hostel, substations, nursery building, Godavri building, community hall and other open space like car parking area, bus parking areas etc. The developers will have a period of 2 months from the award of the project to complete the work on the project.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3.11 crore and all bidders will have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 3.11 lakh (Rs 3,11,500) along with their bids.

The last date for bid submission is August 13, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The date and time for the opening of the financial bids will be intimated to the technically accepted bidders later. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 3, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.

To be eligible, the bidders should have experience of having successfully completed in the last ten months;

a. three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender OR

b. two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender OR

c. one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost.

Additionally, the average annual financial turnover for the last 3 years shall be at least 50 percent of the estimated cost put to tender.

Recently, the Punjab State Transmission Corp (PSTCL) has issued a tender for deployment of 1699 kW of rooftop solar plants on buildings of PTSCL under RESCO model. The last date for bid submission is August 20, 2019.
