NALCO Tenders for Electrification of Battery Room for Rooftop Solar PV Plant

State-owned National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has floated a tender for the electrification of battery room for rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plant at the premises of its D.M. plant in S.P.P of Alumina Refinery, NALCO in Damanjodi town in Odisha.

The last date and time for submitting bids is June 15, 2020, by 3:00 p.m. However, the submitted bids will be opened on June 17, 2020, at 9:30 a.m at TnC Dept, Alumina Refinery, Nalco, Damanjodi.

Further, there’s no tender fee attached to it, however, the bidders need to submit earnest money deposited (EMD) for the project which is fixed at Rs 2,000 and payable at Damanjodi, and the tenure of work contract will be 365 days or 12 months.

Also, the indemnity bond value is Nil for the contractor, while the minimum workable rate is Rs 1,28,306.

The scope of work includes electrification of battery room for rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plant; Supply and installation of LED tube light as per BOQ; Supply & laying of 25mm x 6mm GI earth strip & 8 SWG GI wire; Concealed wiring of Light/Fan point with 2.5 sq.mm. multistrand copper wire with a different colour for a line, neutral and earthing; Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1 phase 300mm 220/240 V heavy-duty exhaust fan; Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of 8″ x 6″ MS/GI of switch boards with Bakelite cover; Installation and testing of 5A switch on switch board; Laying of cable 3.5 C 35/50 sq. mm; Supply of DC Glands and termination of cable etc.

The Navratna company has instructed interested bidders to quote online well ahead of the schedule tender submission date and time to avoid unforeseen problems like last hour congestion, internet failure etc. Also, bids submitted in any other mode, except online mode, will not be considered.
