NALCO Tenders for Room Construction for Rooftop Solar Batteries in Damanjodi

State-owned National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has floated a tender for the construction of room for batteries of rooftop solar units at the premises of its D.M. plant in S.P.P, NALCO, Damanjodi in Odisha.

The scope of work includes the construction of room for batteries of rooftop solar units; dismantling of PCC, RCC and tar felt; disposal of debris; P/L of PCC, RCC and brickworks in superstructures above ground level up to 3^rd floor; fixing of M.S. railings, columns, trusses, purlins, gratings and guard bars, windows, grills, doors and CGI sheets; P/L of ceramic tiles and Kota stones in floors and dados; P/L of plaster, painting; and P/F of glasses.

The last date and time for submitting bids is May 25, 2020, by 3:00 p.m. However, the submitted bids will be opened on May 27, 2020, at 9:30 a.m at Nalco, Damanjodi.

Further, the earnest money deposited (EMD) for the project is fixed at Rs 10,000, and the tenure of work contract will be 4 months.

Also, the indemnity bond value is Rs 4,04,600 for the contractor and the minimum workable rate is Rs 4,33,781.

The Navratna company has instructed interested bidders that the EMD & tender fee instruments in original will have to be submitted and sent beforehand so as to reach the office of tender inviting authority on or before the bid submission due date & time or extended bid due date & time of the tender, failing which the offer will be liable for rejection.

Meanwhile, the company has utilised its entire available rooftop space in Corporate Office, Township and NRTC at Bhubaneswar for setting up of 310 kWp solar power plant. It is also having an aggregate of four wind energy plants of 50.4 MW in Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh, 47.6 MW at Ludarwa site, in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, 50 MW at Devikot site, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan and a 50.4 MW wind energy plant at Sangli, Maharashtra.
