MNRE invites EoI for conducting a study of Impact of Training Programme sponsored by the Ministry

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has been sponsoring short-term training programme mainly in areas of construction/manufacturing, installation, operation & maintenance and entrepreneurship of Renewable Energy Systems under its HRD Programme as well as other programmes.

Now MNRE wants to get a valuation done of the trainings in-term of utility of the trained manpower in these training programmes. Additionally the Ministry wants to have an assessment of penetration of various renewable energy systems in selected areas, employment generated during execution/installation of the projects as well as in O&M and providing after sales services of these systems by the suppliers/installers and utility of the trained manpower in such activities. The Ministry also wants to assess if the RE companies/system integrators/installers/suppliers have their own training mechanism.  For this the ministry is inviting Expression of Interest from educational institutions, industry associations, NGOs and Individuals engaged in renewable energy activities for more than 10 years for conducting a study to understand the Impact of its sponsored Training Programme.

MNRE notes that the Study should be completed in ‘3’ months from the date of award of Study.  The EOI should categorically mention about the expertise and experience of the organization/individual in undertaking such study, methodology of Study, time frame for different activities and financial proposal.
