Taking cognizant of this fact, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy acted and has decided to blacklist Emami Power Ltd. and Oriental Sales Agencies (India) Pvt Ltd. for a period of three years, debarring them from participating in any of MNRE’s schemes.

The copy of this order has been submitted to Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and NTPC Ltd.

The step taken by MNRE indicates that that government does not allow any malpractices by vendors to ensure quality of supplies.
