Military Engineer Services Issues Tender for 1.5 MW Solar Plant in Jabalpur

The Military Engineer Services has issued a tender for setting up of 1.5 MW solar power plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The last date for submitting the bid and opening dates for this 1.5 MW solar power project is mentioned in the tender document. 

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the survey, design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the ground-mounted solar power plant. The entire work under phase-I of this contract shall be completed in 60 days. On successful commissioning of the plant, the developers will be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the plant for 4 years under phase II. 

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 62.20 lakhs according to the market. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 1000 as a cost of the document. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 1,18,500/- as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee.

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted solar power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of grid-connected solar power plants. 

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

The net worth of the bidder should also be positive & shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
