Military Engineer Services Floats Tender for Solar Led Lights

State-owned Military Engineer Services (MES), which provides an infrastructure for armed forces, has invited bids for the provision of solar LED lights and LED fittings & fixtures.

The scope of work includes the provisioning of solar LED lights, provisioning of LED fittings and fixtures in MD ACCN and provisioning of modular switches and false ceiling lights at ICGS Vadinar and provisioning of a solar street light at CGDHQ NO. 1 under GE(I) CG Porbandar.

The start date and time for downloading of tender document is May 25, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. onwards, however, the bidders can begin submission of their bids from June 01, 2020, 6:00 p.m. onwards.

The last date and time for submitting bids is June 08, 2020, up to 06:00 p.m. However, the submitted bids will be opened on June 09, 2020, at 06:00 p.m. onwards at GE I CG Porbandar.

Further, the tender fee is Rs 500, and the earnest money deposited (EMD) for the project is fixed at Rs 89,000. The tender value or estimated cost of the projects is Rs 44.5 lakhs and the period of completion of work is six months.

The bidders will upload documents pertaining to cover I i.e.”T” bid to enable them to qualify for cover II i.e. financial bid. However hard copies of documents must be submitted to The Garrison Engineer (I) Coast Guard DHQ No. 1, Opp. Birla Factory, Porbandar – 360575 so as to reach this office on or before the date mentioned.

Recently, MES has invited bids for the supply of distributed solar energy to LED pathway lights. The scope of work includes the provisioning of off-grid solar electric supply to LED pathway lights at Nofra under GE Gomantak Vasco.

The start date and time for downloading of tender document is May 23, 2020, at 1800 hours onwards, and the end date and time for submitting bids is May 30, 2020, up to 1800 hours. However, the submitted bids will be opened on June 02, 2020, at 1100 hours onwards at CWE Navy Vasco.
