MG Motor India Achieves Highest-Ever Production, 1000 Electric

Recently, MG Motor India reported retail sales of 4367 units in October 2022, an increase of 53% from the corresponding month of the previous year (October-2021). (Highest-Ever Production) This expansion is the result of the company producing 5008 units overall, including 1000 of its electric car (MG ZS EV), which was also a record-high for MG India. This has been made feasible thanks to the manufacturer’s localization activities, which have helped to increase semiconductor supply. We can only hope that things become better in the upcoming weeks.

MG Motor is still concentrating on satisfying customer demand. The start of Astor’s deliveries, India’s first SUV with AI onboard, in both CVT and AT variants is now conceivable because of the recent boost in manufacturing.(Highest-Ever Production)

Since its premiere in 2020, the all-new ZS EV, India’s first pure electric Internet SUV, has achieved a significant milestone, recording the highest-ever retail sales of 784 units. This achievement is made possible by the extensive charging network that is growing throughout the nation. The MG Hector, India’s first internet-delivered SUV, continues to do well in terms of sales, and the business is prepared to introduce the Next-Gen Hector at some point this year.

Recently, MG Motor India revealed that its brand-new ZS EV Excite model will have dual-tone signature ivory interiors. With more than 75 connected features and the largest in-segment 50.3kWh battery with globally recognized quality standards (ASIL-D, IP69K, & UL2580), the ZS EV Excite provides customers with a potent electric mobility experience.

Additionally, The Indian subsidiary of Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor, MG Motor India joined up with the Noida-based Attero to recycle electric vehicle (EV) batteries. Attero provides a range of recycling, refurbishing, retail, and reverse logistics solutions to help organizations minimize their electronic waste.
