MEDA Issues Tenders for 793 kW Solar Power Plants with Net-Metering

MEDA 793 kW Solar Power Plant

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued two tenders for the development of cumulative total 793 kW Capacity Grid-Connected Solar PV Power Plant under Roof-Top Net Metering at Yavatmal and Amravati.

The department has issued one tender for development of 395 kW capacity solar PV power plant under rooftop net metering system at six SC & NB government residential schools, two government girls hostel and divisional one thousand government boys hostel, Nimbhora under social welfare department, Amravati in district Amravati.

The second tender has been issued for 398 kW capacity solar PV power plant under rooftop net metering system at Social Welfare Office (Building 01 & Building 02), seven Government Residential Schools and eleven Government Boys & Girls Hostel under Social Welfare Department, Yavatmal in District of Yavatmal.

The brief scope of work for winning bidders will include the design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning with a remote monitoring system for the solar plants. The developers will also be responsible for the successful maintenance of the plants for a period of 5 years.

The last date of bid submissions for both the projects is February 13, 2019. And each bidder must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2,14,550 (Amravati) and Rs 2,18,900 (Yavatmal) i.e. 1% of the estimated cost of the projects.

The successful bidders have been mandated to ensure that the SPV power plant should be commissioned within 90 Days from the date of issue of work order on both projects.

To be eligible, a bidder should have installed & commissioned 400 kW capacity (single or cumulative) Projects out of which at least one project should have capacity minimum 50 kW (single location) Grid-connected rooftop net metering systems. Additionally, the average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than 2 crore during the last three fiscal years.
