MEDA Issues Tender For 150 kW Solar Plant in Nagpur

MEDA 150 kW Solar Plant in Nagpur

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued a tender inviting bids for the deployment of a 150 kW grid-connected solar PV power plant at Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Ramtek in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

The brief scope of work for selected bidder will include the Design, Engineering, Fabrication, supply, transportation, storage, insurance, erection, testing and commissioning of 150 kW solar power plant along with five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance including model cleaning system, CCTV and control, weather monitoring system on a turnkey contract basis as described in the tender document.

The last date of bid submission is March 14, 2019, and the date for bid opening is March 15, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for March 7, 2019, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders.

The estimated cost of the project as per the benchmark cost of MNRE along with 5 years CMC for 150KW SPV plant is Rs 87 lakhs and all bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 87 thousand along with their bids.

The bidder shall ensure that at site Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants should be installed and commissioned within 45 Days from the date of receipt of the work order.

To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned 200 kW capacity (single or cumulative) grid-connected rooftop net metering systems during the last three years. And, must have a cumulative turnover of minimum Rs 2 crore during the last three years.

Recently, MEDA issued three tenders for setting up of 175 kW of cumulative capacity rooftop solar PV power projects under rooftop net metering criteria at three locations in Nagpur.

The three rooftop systems will be developed at the 1. Prajapati Bramhakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya (100 kW), 2. Seva Sadan Highschool and 3. Junior College (40 kW) and the Ganpati Devsthan Trust (35 kW). The last date of bid submissions is, March 07, 2019, for the 100 kW system, and February 27, 2019, for the 40 kW system and 35 kW system.
