MBH Power Wins 6 MW Solar Plant Project Issued by Kerala State Electricity Board

Kerala State Electricity Board had issued a tender looking for an EPC contractor for 6 MW solar plant at Moongil mada Palakkad under feeder level solarisation of PM KUSUM Scheme (Component C) and its O&M for the first five years.

The KSEB 6 MW solar project has been bagged by Gujarat-based energy solutions provider MBH Power. The other bidders who participated in the tender were Everest Agencies and Inkel Ltd- a project management consultancy in Kerala, which delves into the installation and management of solar projects.

Inkel Ltd quoted a bidding price of INR 314999999. MBH Power, however, emerged as the L1, having quoted the bidding price of INR 288500000.

The contract is valued at INR 27 Cr.

Recently, the Kerala State Electricity Board received the green signal from the German development bank, KfW, for securing a loan for the Green Energy Corridor (GEC) project that it is implementing. The signatories of the pact will be the State government, KSEB and KfW.
