Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd Invites Bids for 2.5 MWp Rooftop Solar Plant

Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) has invited bids for the development of a 2.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar plant at the residential and non-residential buildings of MCL. 

The last date for submitting the bid for this Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) 2.5 MW tender is January 03, 2023, till 05:00 pm, and bids will be opened on January 05, 2023, at 11:00 pm. The total completion period for the work is 2430 days from the LOA. 

The scope of work of this Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd 2.5 MW tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing & commissioning. The scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) for 05 (Five) Years after the successful completion of one year warranty period at different residential/non-residential buildings of MCL.

The estimated total cost of the project is Rs 12,22,95,580/-. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 15,28,700/- as an earnest money deposit. Each interested bidder will also have to pay 10% of the contract value as a performance bank guarantee. 

The intending tenderer must have in its name or proportionate share

as a member of a Joint Venture/ Partnership Firm experience having completed similar works as a prime contractor, during last 7 (the seven) years ending the last day of the month previous to the one in which bid applications are invited (i.e. eligibility period) should be either of

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive & not be less than 100% of the paid-up share capital, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
