KREDL Floats Tender for Acrylic Miniature Model of 2.05 GW Pavagada Solar Park

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has invited  online bids for the construction of a scale model (acrylic miniature model) of the 2050 MW (2.05 GW) Pavagada Solar Park in the new building complex in Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru. This model will be used to educate and inform participants in training and internship programs for skill development as well as the general public.

The Pavagada solar park is counted among the world’s largest solar parks currently.

The last date for submitting the online bid is October 07, 2022. Bids will be opened on October 10, 2022.

This KREDL miniature model solar tender includes the scope of work in design, engineering, manufacture, supply, and installation of an acrylic miniature model of 2050MW Solar Park, Pavagada at KREDL Building, Nagarabhavi.

The estimated total cost of the tender is Rs.28,32,000/-. Each interested bidder will have to pay the tender / Request for Proposal document fee, which is mentioned in the e-procurement GoK portal and shall be paid through e-payment mode. Also awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 56,640/- as an earnest money deposit (EMD) within 15 days from the letter of the award. Bids not accompanied with requisite EMD shall be liable for outright rejection. The bids of the bidders uploading the NSIC certificates etc seeking EMD exemption shall be summarily rejected.

The selected bidder will be required to submit 5 % of the total contract value as performance security shall be submitted to KREDL at the time of signing of the contract agreement.

Bidder shall have experience in execution of supply, installation, and commissioning of Operations and Maintenance with similar or more capacity considering, during the last five years with any govt. or private organizations in India. 

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr.

The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
