KPI Green Results- FY25 Revenue Up 70%, Profits Up 101%

Gujarat-based Renewables EPC firm KPI Green Energy has come out with its Q4 and FY25 results. The firm has much to be proud of with a strong growth in topline at Rs 1755 crores versus 1030 crores in FY24, a growth of over 70%. The bottom line continues to see margin improvement as well, with net profits coming in at Rs 325.1 crores versus Rs 161.5 crores, a growth of just over 100%.

Q4 numbers have been solid as well, with revenues at Rs 577.8 crores versus Rs 292.9 cr in the corresponding quarter of FY24, a 98% jump over the previous year. Profits at Rs 104 cr during the quarter were over 140% higher than those during Q4 of last year at Rs 42.9 crores. Sequentially, the firm grew revenues strongly at 23% over the December quarter. Owing to lumpy booking of income, readers will recall that there was some disappointment over its Q3 numbers, which the firm has comprehensively settled with the Q4 figures.

With a strong order book and a new bids pipeline still very strong, the firm remains well poised to maintain the momentum in FY26 as well. The board has declared a dividend of Rs 0.20 per share for FY25.

In the past year, the firm declared a 1:2 bonus issue and a 5:10 stock split to improve liquidity in the stock.

The firm was founded by Faruk G Patel in 2008. Group firm KP Energy also announced its results at the same time, with a 97% growth in topline in FY25 and profit growth that kept pace with the topline growth as well. KP Energy has been focused on wind energy EPC development, compared to KPI Green, which has tended to look at solar EPC development. It is widely expected that the move into BESS development will be led by KPI Green Energy in the coming months.
