KPI Green Energy Joins Hands with Uttarakhand Govt for 500 MW Solar Park

Surat-headquartered KPI Green Energy has announced that it has accomplished the charging of 26.l0 MW wind-solar hybrid project. This entails 16.l0 MW wind and 10 MW CIC solar capacity. The project is established in Bhungar site in Mahuva, Bhavnagar under the firm's own power generating asset portfolio.

The firm has further revealed that it has additionally charged 1.01 MW solar capacity in its Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment and 34.86 MW capacity in captive power producer (CPP) segment. As a result, KPI Green has completed the charging of 61.97 MW (solar and wind-solar hybrid) capacity in the firm as well as through its wholly owned subsidiaries- KPIG Energia Private Limited and Sun Drops Energia Private Limited.

The said projects are in the advance stage of commissioning, for which, the approval of Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG) has also been received.

The firm recently commissioned a 25 MW captive solar power project for Greenlab Diamonds in Surat. KPI Green Energy had said that it had inked a set of new Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to sell 6.3 MW of solar power.
