Kosol Energie Poised to Add 850 MW Automated Line to Manufacturing Facility

Ahmedabad-based solar manufacturer Kosol Energie, has announced its capacity expansion plans. The firm has shared that it is set to add an 850 MW fully automated line to its manufacturing facility. The firm owns the well known Sunray brand of solar water heaters.

According to the firm, the expanded facility is equipped with the latest testing facilities as per the latest IEC standard 2021, including spire m/c and electrical double side heating for glass to glass bifacial modules. The firm has said that is nearing the capacity achievement of 1.1 GW in the next few months and this expansion will allow the company to produce all types of modules with AAA+++ quality modules with IEC, UL, DEWA, CEC, BIS, ALMM, ISO certified product. Kosol Energie has set sights on adding another 850 MW line in the coming FY2023-24, which will augment its capacity to around 2 GW. 

Kosol Energie’s modules range from 20 Wp to 720 Wp and cover M10 & M12 Mono perc of P-type and N type with TOPCON and HJT cells. These modules offer the highest efficiency of up to 24.5% + Ve, making them an excellent choice for residential and commercial solar applications, says the firm. Recently, Kosol Energie provided a manufacturing line order to SC Solar line supplier- a manufacturer of solar equipment.
The firm has a presence across USA, Europe, UAE, Australia, and other parts of the world where it has been exporting its offerings.
