Kosol Energie Named ‘Best Solar Brand of the Year 2025’ by BARC Asia

Kosol Energie has been awarded the title of “Best Solar Brand of the Year 2025” by BARC Asia, marking a significant recognition of the company’s contribution to India’s renewable energy sector.

The Gujarat-based firm, known for its solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services and module manufacturing, was honoured for its leadership, innovation and commitment to sustainability. The award is given to brands that demonstrate excellence, transformative impact and consistent performance across sectors.

“This award is a tribute to our team, partners and customers,” said Kalpesh Kalthia, chairman and managing director of Kosol Energie. “It motivates us to continue leading the clean energy transition through innovation and sustainable solutions.”

Kosol operates a 3.1 GW automated solar module manufacturing facility and provides end-to-end solar solutions across utility-scale, commercial, industrial and agricultural segments. Its business portfolio includes two sub-brands: Sunray, a solar water heating and rooftop brand with over four decades of presence, and Koraam, which focuses on solar-powered technologies for agriculture.

Founded with a focus on sustainable energy access, Kosol Energie has delivered projects both in India and abroad, including in the United States. The company said its recognition by BARC Asia reflects its growing role in accelerating India’s renewable energy goals.
