Koraam New Energie Sees Surge in Solar Pump Installations

Koraam New Energie, powered by Gujarat-based Kosol Energie, has recorded a sharp rise in solar water pump installations for fiscal year 2024–25, increasing its footprint in the Indian solar irrigation market.

The company secured a major work order under Component B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme, with a total allocation of 5,500 solar pumps valued at ₹186 crore (excluding GST) from various nodal agencies. A bulk of the order—3,000 pumps—was awarded under Maharashtra’s Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana, of which 2,200 units have already been installed, marking strong execution progress.

Scaling Other Verticals 

Koraam’s performance has nearly doubled year-on-year, underlining its growing footprint in India’s renewable energy landscape. The company said it is now leveraging this growth to scale other verticals, including module supply, utility-scale EPC projects, and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar solutions.

Channel Partner 

Koraam has established itself as a channel partner in key regions such as Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Leh–Ladakh, further extending its national reach. The company is also preparing to launch new solar-powered agri-products, including milk chillers, dryers, and refrigeration storage units.

In just two years, Koraam has become a trusted name in the solar pump sector, offering low-maintenance, energy-efficient systems that reduce operational costs and promote self-reliance and environmental sustainability.
