Konkan Railway Corporation has issued a tender for inviting bids to set up a 5 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar project. This solar project would provide solar energy for the 25 kV, single-phase, 50 Hz transmission system at Murdeshwar of the Konkan Railway in Karnataka for 25 years, as well as the necessary protection system.
The last date for submitting the online bid is September 22, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.
This Konkan Railway Corporation 5 MW solar tender includes the scope of work in design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
The estimated total cost of the tender is Rs. 26,62 crores. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 14.8146/- lakhs an as an Earnest Money Deposit / Bid Security. For 25 years, the tender's price has been set at Rs. 3.10 per kWh.
In the previous three financial years (FYs) and the current FY up until the date of tender opening, the bidder must have received contractual payments totaling at least 150% of the tender's advertised value.
The bidder must have achieved one of the tasks below during the previous seven years: Three comparable works, each of which must cost at least 30% of the advertised value of the tender; two comparable works, each of which must cost at least 40% of the advertised worth of the tender; or one comparable job, each of which must cost at least 60% of the advertised value of the tender.
Interested bidder must have similar works experience including supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning a solar power generating system of at least 10 kW capacity.
