Kerala Floats Tender for 3 MW Solar Plant at Kannur Naval Station Kerala to Welcome Special Zone for Electric Vehicle Industry

Tender 3 MW Solar at Kannur Naval Station

The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON) has issued tender to set up a 3 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) project at The Indian Naval Academy, Naval Station, Ezhimala, Kannur.

The brief scope of work for the winning bidder will include the supply and installation of electrical material required for installation, testing & commissioning of the solar PV plant.

The last date of bid submissions is February 11, 2019, and the technical bids will open on February 14, 2019. All bidders will need to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 70,000 along with their bids.

The winning bidder will also be required to complete the entire project in a period of 30 days from the issue of the letter of award.

To be eligible, the bidder should have completed similar types of work during the last 2 years and should have an average annual turnover not less than Rs 70 lakh in the last three financial years.

BSNL Kerala recently commissioned its first grid interactive solar power plant of 65 kW capacity on its administrative building in Kerala, a part of the company’s plan to set up 505 kW rooftop solar capacity on its buildings in the state.
