JREDA Issues Tender To Empanel Vendors Under PM-KUSUM Public Health Engineering Dept Tender for solarisation of grid connected pump

The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited bids for the empanelment of vendors for installations of solar pumps under the PM-KUSUM scheme.

The tender was meant for vendors who would be liable to design, manufacture, supply, transport, install, test and commission off-grid solar pumps. The scope of work encompasses the supply of solar panels, solar modules, controller and balance of the system. The systems will be installed in off-grid mode, where grid supply is not available.

The bidding process will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, pre-qualified bidders will be invited to submit their technical bids. The technically qualified bidders will be invited to submit their financial bids in the second stage.

The successful bidders will be empanelled for three years. They will be required to provide a warranty of five years for the systems they supply. The deadline for submission of bids is September 15, 2023. The bids will be opened on September 20, 2023.

The empanelment of vendors is part of the PM-KUSUM scheme, which aims to provide financial assistance to farmers to install solar pumps and other renewable energy systems. The scheme is expected to benefit over 10,000 farmers in Jharkhand.

It is expected to help reduce the use of diesel and electricity in agriculture and improve farmers’ income. The empanelment of vendors is a significant step in implementing the PM KUSUM scheme in Jharkhand. It will help to accelerate the installation of solar water pumping systems in the state and benefit more farmers.
