JREDA Floats Two Solar Tenders for Cumulative Capacity of 5 MW

Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited bids for two solar tenders with a cumulative capacity of 5 MW including 2 MW for the grid-connected canal-top solar PV power plant at Sikidiri Canal, and 3 MW for grid-connected rooftop SPV power plants of different capacities on a turnkey basis for government residential buildings anywhere in Jharkhand. 

The last date for submitting the online bid of 2 MW is November 28, 2022, & the 3 MW solar project is November 21, 2022, till 05:00 pm. Bids will be opened on November 30 & November 23, 2022, respectively.

These JREDA solar tenders include the scope of work in design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning.

The warranty obligation of comprehensive operation and maintenance for 2 MW and 3 MW solar projects in ten (10) years and five (05) years respectively.

For 2 MW for the grid-connected canal-top solar PV power plant project

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 25,000/- as a tender fee amount. Each interested bidder will have to be submitted Rs. 39,00,000/- as an Earnest Money Deposit.

3 MW for grid-connected rooftop SPV power plants 

The estimated total cost of the tender is 24 crores. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10,000/- as a tender fee amount. Each interested bidder will have to be submitted Rs. 2.08 lakh as an Earnest Money Deposit (for the lot size of 100 kWp grid-connected solar rooftop power plant). The selected bidder will be required to submit 10% of the EPC contract price within 15 days of the Letter of Intent validity period of 24 months from the date of the LoI’s issuance. The successful bidder shall submit a performance guarantee of 5% of the allotted work order value in the form of DD/Bank Guarantee/FDR/TDR valid for five years on or before the release of payment of the installation. The successful bidder will also have to submit 10% of the EPC contract price as a security deposit. 

To procure this 3 MW of solar project, the average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be at least 30% of the estimated cost of Bidding Capacity derived from the last three financial years ending on 31.03.2021. Bidder should have Positive Net Worth as of 31.03.2021 based on audited annual accounts.
