JinkoSolar Urged to Support India’s Ambitious Solar Target

Jinko SolarJinkoSolar Holding recently attended the India-China CEO’s Dialogue, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi, India.

At the high level meeting with Minister of Finance, Minister of Energy, Minister of Corporate Affairs, and other India’s top governors, JinkoSolar urged to support India’s ambitious solar target and discussed the challenges faced by Solar PV development in India in relation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s target of 100GW of solar energy by 2022.  The company also addressed concern over the long term and sustainable solution to some key issues, including financial health of Indian distribution companies, interest rate, rupee stability, tax, etc.

Dany Qian, Vice President of JinkoSolar said during the meeting: “As the world largest solar panel producer and one of the largest solar electricity companies JinkoSolar can play a big role in the solar sector in India.
