Japan Asia Investment commissions 2 MW Solar Project in Aichi

Japan Asia Investment Co. Ltd. has completed the solar photovoltaic project with a capacity of 2MW in Aichi prefecture.

Tokyo-based Japan Asia Investment Co. Ltd. has announced that the project for its 2-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Aichi prefecture has been commissioned.

Local utility Chubu Electric Power Co. will be purchasing power from the plant.

With a total cost of about JPY 780 million (USD 7.71m/EUR 6.88m, the 2-MW solar plant was built in a partnership with local firm Smart Solar Corp. It will be generating around 2.68 million kWh of electricity per year, which will be enough to meet the annual demand of about 755 local households.

Also, the Japan Asia Investment Co. Ltd has undertaken another 2-MW PV Plant project, though in Shizuoka prefecture. Till date, Japan Asia Investment holds a total capacity of 103.3 MW in its solar power portfolio.
