Jakson Group Gets Its 600Wp Modules The ALMM Stamp Jakson Group Poised for Manufacturing Expansion Through Agreement with Jinchen Corp

Jakson Group, the energy and infrastructure company, has recently added one more first to its credit. The company claims that it has become the only Indian Manufacturer to be ALMM empanelled for 600 Wp solar modules using M10 Half Cut Cell Technology. That claim might be contested by Waaree though, whose 650 Wp modules have also made the list according to the company.

The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has updated the approved list of models and manufacturers(ALMM) for solar modules in its seventh update. Earlier, Jakson’s Polycrystalline and Monocrystalline were already on the approved list of MNRE.

Now, with the empanelment of Helia Series, Jakson’s 600 Wp Solar modules are ALMM em-paneled. According to the company, Helia series modules are one of the most advanced and powerful PV modules offered in the Indian market and are available in variants ranging from 120, 132, 144, and 156 half-cut cells configuration. Developed using A+ category half-cut MonoPERC solar cells and combined with Multi-busbar (MBB) technology & high-density interconnections, the Helia series of PV Modules achieves a class-leading efficiency of over 21%.

Jakson Solar increased its capacity to 600 MW in November of last year (2021), and it should be completely operational by November of 2022. Before we merge backward and start producing solar cells, there are concrete plans to grow capacity to 1 GW of solar modules.

In addition to this, Jakson Group recently finished the first-ever Solar Park project in Assam. On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Amguri, Sivasagar in Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, officially opened the 70 MW Amguri Solar Park.

In May 2022, the Jakson Group also won bids for full Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for a 250 MWp Solar PV Project in Ananthapuram, Andhra Pradesh, and a 5 MWp Solar PV Plant in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, after the granting of O&M for NTPC’s 260 MW solar plant at Bhadla in Rajasthan.
