Jakson Green Secures 1 GWp O&M Contracts, Expands Solar Biz By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Jun 10th, 2025 Jakson Green Secures 1 GWp O&M Contracts, Expands Solar Biz Jakson Green Renewables, the asset management arm of Jakson Green, has secured new third-party operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts totaling 1 gigawatt peak (GWp), taking its total solar O&M portfolio to 5 GWp. The newly added projects cover four large-scale solar installations, ranging from 75 MWp to 435 MWp, located across Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. The contracts reinforce Jakson Green’s position in India’s solar O&M segment. “The addition of these new projects reflects our commitment to reliable solar asset management,” said Kannan Krishnan, joint managing director at Jakson Green. “With 5 GWp under O&M, we are focused on delivering operational performance and maximising returns for our clients.” Lalit Mishra, head of O&M at Jakson Green Renewables, said the projects demonstrate the company’s capability to manage solar assets across varied geographies and capacities. The company’s O&M portfolio includes a mix of in-house and third-party projects, both within India and internationally. Jakson Green, founded in 2022, is part of the Noida-based Jakson Group. The company operates in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), independent power production (IPP), build-own-operate (BOO), and O&M segments across solar, wind, green hydrogen, compressed biogas (CBG), and other low-carbon solutions. Its current global portfolio includes over 8 GWp of executed solar EPC projects, 5 GWp of O&M assets, and more than 1.5 GWp under development. The firm is also constructing green molecules plants with a total capacity of 8,500 tonnes per annum, and its subsidiary, Jakson Infinity, operates a 300 MW electrolyser manufacturing facility.
