ITI Issues EoI For EV Charging Infrastructure Operations Centre For MSEDCL

The Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) Ltd., on behalf of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), invited bids from eligible bidders for the tender for the implementation of Electrical Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Operation Centre.

The brief scope of work for selected bidders will include the supply, customisation, installation, deployment and maintenance of the necessary software and other systems for proposed electrical vehicle charging infrastructure operation centre to facilitate monitoring, data logging and data analysis of charging stations across Maharashtra. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance of the system for the period of 5 years from the date of acceptance.

The scope of work will be further extended to supply, installation, commissioning of standard EV Charging Infrastructure OC solution on the MSEDCL cloud, inclusive of required databases, map services and allied tools such as charting tools etc. for 50 EV Charging Units (with scalability up to 500 no. of EV charging units) for 5 years.

To be eligible, the bidder should have experience in implementation of an EV Charging infrastructure operation centre managing at least 10 charging stations, in India or abroad from the FY 2012-13 and onwards up to the last date of tender submission.

Financially, the bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of at least Rs 10 crore for the FY years 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. And, must also have a positive net worth and should be profit making in each of the last three financial years as on bid submission date.

The last date for bid submission is March 30, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on the same date. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids as bid security.

The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the supply, erection and commissioning of seventy AC (Smart) Charging Equipment (Bharat AC 001) in Ranchi, Bengaluru, Goa, Shimla, Hyderabad, Agra, and a hundred and seventy DC (Fast) Charging Equipment (Bharat DC 001) and thirty DC Fast Charger 100 KW with 3 Guns (CCS, CHAdeMO and AC Type 2) on the Jaipur-Agra-Delhi highway and Pune-Mumbai Highway and cities.
