ISES Announces Solar World Congress 2023 In New Delhi

Freiburg, Germany headquartered The International Solar Energy Society (ISES) has regularly gathered the world’s pre-eminent solar energy researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders at its biennial Solar World Congresses (SWCs) to share technology developments, new research breakthroughs, case studies and best practices in solar and renewable energy development. ISES has recently announced that its next biennial Solar World Congress (SWC) will be held this year in New Delhi, India, October 30 – 4
November 2023 at the Ashok Hotel.

The theme for this year’s Congress is “Moving the world towards 100% renewable energy”. Detailed information about the Congress can be found at swc2023.org.

Key supporters representing international organizations as well as organizations actively involved in solar energy research and development within India have already committed to work with ISES in making this year’s Congress a very successful and impactful event. These include the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), the Solar Thermal Federation of India (STFI), and the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI).

Attending the Congress provides the opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present their most recent work, including lessons learned, case studies, and best practices. The Congress programme will include distinguished plenary and keynote speakers, technical oral and poster sessions, workshops, technical tours, dedicated events for young researchers and social events, with plenty of opportunity to network, meet old friends and make new ones.

Full technical papers by select researchers will be presented as part of the Technical Program at the SWC 2023 either orally or as a poster display. These accepted papers will also be published in the Congress Proceedings with an individual Digital Object Identifier, DOI. These proceedings will be on a publicly accessible and searchable online database: proceedings.ises.org.
