Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corp. Ltd (IRCTC) has floated a tender for annual maintenance for the solar power plant at Danapur, Patna, Bihar. 

The last date for submitting the bid for this solar power plant maintenance tender is as per the document.

This solar power plant maintenance tender includes the scope of the work of cleaning panels and the tightening of connections shall be carried out every fortnightly. For maintenance of the PCU, an adequate set of essential spares shall be kept ready/ aside. 

Under the annual maintenance contract, the contractor shall provide the following services: –

  1. Attending Breakdown calls as and when required.
  2. Routine checking, repair, and cleaning of devices during service visits as per maintenance schedule and as per stipulation of the original equipment manufacturer.

The Quarterly preventive maintenance will include the following:

  1. All the PV Cells are in good working condition and the same has to be handed over to IRCTC in good working condition after AMC work. If the firm fails to do so then the deduction shall be made from the firm’s bill/SD after calculating the quantum of defects/ discrepancies and their value thereon.
  2. The firm shall deploy one skilled and trained staff during the daytime daily. He should be well qualified and conversant to keep the equipment properly. He will be responsible to maintain the equipment with efficient reliable and safe operating conditions.
  3. The Contract Period is for 2 years and extendable for 06 months after the Successful completion of work which is the sole discretion of IRCTC,
  4. The firm shall examine periodically all safety devices, earthing systems, and the output of solar panels.

The estimated total tender value is four lakh (including 18% GST). Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 8000 as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. The awarded bidder must provide 3% of the awarded capacity as a bank security deposit.

To procure this tender, the bidder must have a minimum of 03 years of experience in the field of solar work. Bidders must provide three-year experience certificate from the central Govt/PSU, which should be attached along with their submitted quote.
