Indian wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has secured a 100 MW equipment supply order from a leading green energy transition platform. In a press release, Inox Wind said it secured the latest order to supply IWL’s 3.3 MW turbines for the projects that are being developed by the customer in Gujarat.
Additionally, IWL under the order, Inox Wind will provide a limited scope EPC for the project as well as multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services post the commissioning of the turbines.
About The Project
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Inox Wind, said, “We are delighted to have secured a 100 MW order from a new customer, with several additional orders to be received going ahead. This order follows up our recent 229 MW wins from other existing and new customers, taking our total order inflow in FY26 to ~ 400 MW till date."
The latest order builds on Inox Wind’s earlier 229 MW order, which included the supply of 160 MW (112 MW firm order with an option to extend by an additional 48 MW) of its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators to a leading Indian IPP for projects being developed across multiple sites.
On the latest order, Agarwal added, "We are in advanced stages of closure for securing multiple other orders, which will ensure that our year-end net orderbook meets our execution guidance for the subsequent 18-24 months. With the strong momentum across the hybrid renewables space in India, we believe that the forthcoming opportunities in the wind industry are substantial.”
Inox Wind earlier this year announced expansion plans with an investment of Rs. 400 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility at the Kyadigoppa Industrial Area in Kushtagi taluk, Koppal district.
According to the Large and Medium Industries Minister M. B. Patil, land under the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has already been allocated for the facility. The upcoming facility will focus on manufacturing crucial wind turbine components, including towers, large blades, and pillars.
