Ingeteam achieves UL1741 compliance for its new 1500 Vdc Central Inverter Product line up

Ingeteam has announced that it has achieved UL 1741 compliance for the new 1500 Vd Central Inverter product line up.

Ingeteam INGECON SUN PowerMax U B Series inverters are dimensionally 111” x 35” x 80” inches. According to the company these inverters are able to supply up to a maximum power of 1,637 kVA in a single unit - making it the solar inverter with the highest power density in the market.

The 1500 Vdc INGECON SUN PowerMax B Series inverter family comes with Smart Cooling System which makes it possible to optimize and reduce the auxiliary services consumption. Furthermore, the inverter's latest-generation electronic components are housed in an IP66 (NEMA 4) protected compartment, thereby preventing condensation and lengthening the useful life of the power electronics.

This inverter family is ready to be installed indoors (IP50) and outdoors (NEMA3/IP56), and can deliver its rated power up to an ambient temperature of 50ºC (122ºF). The inverter can be easily integrated into medium voltage solutions or power stations that contain all the equipment required for large PV plants says the company.  The company showcased the inverter and medium voltage solutions at the 2016 Solar Power International show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
