India’s TCIL Issues Tender For 25MWp AC Grid-Interactive Solar Plant In Mauritius First Phase of Repsol, Ibereólica Chilean Solar Project Sees Installation of 76.8 MW

The Telecommunications Consultants India Litd (TCIL), an enterprise under the Department of Telecommunication, has now sought bids from solar developers for a 25 Megawatt (MW) grid-interactive solar plant at Mauritius.

 According to the tender details, TCIL has planned the solar plant in an area of 57 acres. TCIL has been a presence in Mauritius since 1991. TCIL said that it is likely to award the project by the owner as an EPC contractor on a turn-key basis at a competitive basis. 

The government enterprise has issued the tender and has invited the eligible bidder for the design, engineering, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the ground-mounted AC solar project. 

The tender document said that the bids would be submitted offline for the tender. The prospective bidders have been asked to submit the bids with the most competitive techno-commercial offer for the work.

 The bidders can now download the tender from the TCIL website. The enterprise has allowed the bidders to seek clarification regarding the bid up to April 25 up to 6 pm, while the last date to submit the bid is April 28, 2023.

 “The bid can also be submitted vide email at [email protected]. In that case, the price bid shall be password protected, which shall be shared by the prospective bidder on the prescribed date and time of financial bid opening through email to [email protected]. Bidder, however, needs to submit the bid in files of a maximum size of 8.5 MB only,” the tender said.
