Green Stocks Oct 9- GK Energy, Saatvik Shoot Up On Uneventful Day

In a manifestation of the mysterious ways the market operates, GK Energy, the solar pump firm, and Saatvik Solar, the solar module maker, both shot up on the back of a stellar results announcement for Q1 and a large order announced yesterday, respectively. 

Usually, punters in the Indian markets know that a firm releasing results early into the results period usually has good news to share, in its view.  The better news is that many of the green stocks in our list are rushing to announce results soon, indicating a degree of management optimism about these results. Firms will be hoping that the results provide new energy to their stock prices as well, as many are drifting below critical levels like the last raised QIP, IPO prove, or broadly, negative returns in this financial year. 

The shift of Solex Energy to the main board on the back of stellar results in the past few quarters indicates just how strong the momentum has been, and considering some of the recent earnings results, there is enough in the pipeline for most firms to benefit from the positive sentiment around the sector right now. 

Coming off a successful industry conference in UP, this writer also feels that the outlook for the sector remains brighter than most people imagine for now, with no really serious roadblock to delivering a blockbuster 2025 in terms of capacity additions.
