Green Stocks May 19- KPI Green's Best Day In 2025

Green stocks enjoyed a mixed day, with some standout examples like EPC firm KPI Green's 10% jump today. KPI of course had endured a rough 2025, so the rise in the past few trading sessions would be welcome. Coming as it does after a strong set of results for the fourth quarter and the full year, the stock's performance underscores our iteration that stocks will react to actual performance over the potential for some time to come. If 2023 and early 2024 were about potential, 2025 is definitely about performance for these stocks, many of which are mounting a return to 2023-24 levels on the back of consistent financial numbers.

A case in point is Tata Power, which has also risen all through the day period to, and after its results, again due to a good set of numbers.

It's the same story with our set of developers, from Acme Solar to NTPC Green to SJVN, all of which are about to announce their results soon, including Acme Solar probably post-market hours today. It is already up 5% in anticipation of a good quarterly performance, with NTPC Green and SJVN also enjoying a good day today.

Inox Wind has also enjoyed a strong day on the back of some large O&M wins for its solar O&M subsidiary. Both the solar manufacturing firms have also enjoyed a strong run in May, and look good for a further momentum push, going by their solid underpinning of orders in hand and ramping up of capacities. Premier Energies in fact has announced a solar wafer tie-up that could give it a headstart as well.
