INDEOtec Secures Order New PECVD Tool Order for Heterojunction Solar Cells

The new tool order for the OCTOPUS PECVD system would be configured to facilitate advanced research of certain layer stacks for heterojunction and other high-efficiency PV solar cells devices.

INDEOtec, the Swiss based PV manufacturing equipment specialist has secured an order intake by the institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE). By the reception of this order, the company continues its strong sales momentum for innovative PECVD system concepts in the field of high-efficiency solar cells architectures.

The dedicated OCTOPUS PECVD system configuration is aimed to facilitate advanced research of certain layer stacks for heterojunction and other high-efficiency PV cell devices.

Beside the cell concept research, Indeotec is looking forward to the collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE for the further improvement and optimization of process and equipment specific topics. The aspects of the collaboration are intended to form a key element of the extensive tool qualification for the OCTOPUS III mass production platform dedicated for heterojunction solar cells devices.
