Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Issues Tender for 12 MW Solar Project

Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (HPPCL) has issued a tender for a 12 Megawatt (AC) Bella Ludhiarchan Solar Power Project in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.

The last date and time of download of the tender document is June 1, 2023, at 1200 hrs. The deadline for bid submission is June 1, 2023.

The scope of works of the contractor under the contract shall involve end-to-end delivery of the commissioned plant to HPPCL, which will include (but not be limited to) the development of land, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and material, testing at manufacturer’s works, packing and forwarding, transportation, supply, receipt and unloading at site, storage, insurance at all stages. 

It will also include associated civil works, electrical works, services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, performance demonstration and operational acceptance of 12 MW (AC) grid interactive solar PV power plants on turnkey basis along with comprehensive operation & maintenance of 08 (eight) years thereafter. 

The scope of the contractor shall be deemed to include all equipment, materials and services which although are not specifically mentioned in the bid documents and/or in contractor’s proposal but are necessary for the satisfactory operation of the solar PV system and its integration with evacuation system provided by state electricity authority(s)/ STU.

The bid security is Rs 1.32 crores. The tender document costs Rs 15,000. The Himachal Pradesh government has set a target to install 500 MW of solar power plants in the Himalayan state in the 2023-24 financial year. HPPCL has been obligated to install 200 MW out the targeted capacity.
