Hitesh Tungal is New Vice President of GaoRun’s Global Business

Suzhou GaoRun New Energy Technology, a provider of automatic solar photovoltaic (PV) module turnkey manufacturing lines, has appointed Hitesh Tungal as Vice President for its international operations with effect from September 1, 2022.

Tungal’s base of operations will be the GaoRun headquarters in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. He brings to the table more than 14 years of experience in the solar business, having held a variety of positions in different places and capacities. His most significant duties among these have been sales and service of manufacturing gear for lithium-ion batteries and solar modules. Prior to joining GaoRun, Tungal was based in China and worked as the Regional Director for Wuxi Lead, where he was in charge of managing the sales of the company’s manufacturing equipment abroad. In 2008, he began his job with Applied Materials.

According to the Chairman of Suzhou GaoRun New Energy Technology, “Hitesh will be in charge of managing Gaorun’s worldwide operations and offering all of his knowledge to all foreign clients. GaoRun has been an essential component of the automation and production of solar modules since 2007.”

With more than 12 GW of lines provided outside of China, India is GaoRun’s largest market, receiving more than 18 lines in the previous two years. Considering the rising need for solar module production lines around the world, particularly in India, Turkey, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA, GaoRun has chosen to establish offices in Turkey and India. The specialised service team for GaoRun will be situated in India and will serve all of its clients worldwide, he continued. The company currently works exclusively with Cliantech Solutions to sell its products in India, and it will continue to do so there as well as through its other international affiliates.
