Hero Lectro's commuter series features high-power removable batteries that provide the convenience of charging anywhere in under four hours as electric cycles become increasingly common in India. The base level C1 model's 19" frames and upgraded looks provide greater ergonomics for more comfortable and secure commuting. The cycles have anti-skid alloy pedals, aerodynamic forks, and IP67 and IP65 dust and waterproof ratings, making them ideal for anyone looking for adventure.

Speaking about the launch, Aditya Munjal, Director, Hero Cycles, said, "Having launched the first e-cycles in India, we at Hero Lectro are today witnessing its widespread adoption across the length and breadth of India. E-cycles have become a preferred alternative for those choosing a mobility option that fulfills the desire for adventure while also being health conscious, sustainable and pocket friendly. Our commitment to better rider experience and innovation is reflected in the latest product launches, which improve upon the most loved features of Hero Lectro e-cycles for varied use cases."

The new variants Hero Lectro C1, C5x, and F1, created in-house at Hero Lectro's research and development facilities, feature dual wall alloy rims with various dimensions to suit the preferences of the rider, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) key locking and LED display units. The most recent E-cycles are capable of the daily driver in all weather thanks to their 250W BLDC rear hub motors and high-power Li-ion batteries. The C5x includes detachable Li-ion batteries, which make charging and battery replacement even simpler, in addition to portable chargers that work with standard power outlets.

The Hero Lectro D2C website, herolectro.com, as well as the company's vast network of over 600 dealers, e-commerce platforms, and upscale experience centers and zones in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai- all stock the e-bikes.

Recently, Hero Lectro announced the launch of its new website to promote D2C sales and strengthen its overall omni-channel presence. With access to Hero Lectro’s complete range of e-cycles and cargo e-bikes, the platform enables visitors and buyers to shop directly from the site in a few easy steps.
