Heraeus Photovoltaics President Andreas Liebheit named Vice Chairman of APVIA

President of Heraeus Photovoltaics, Andreas Liebheit has been nominated as Vice Chairman of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA). APVIA is one of the worldwide most influential associations of PV related enterprises, scientific institutions and related organizations in Asian countries.

“It is my great honor to take the role of Vice Chairman of APVIA, a leading PV industrial organization. I am committed to working with my colleagues to fulfill our mission of promoting the advancement of Asia’s PV industry by enhancing bilateral relationships between governments, industries and enterprises of different countries in Asia“, said Andreas Liebheit.

The nomination follows Andreas Liebheit’s intensive engagement of continuously driving innovation that delivers value to customers across the board.

Early this year in October Heraeus Photovoltaics launched Heraeus SOL9641A series high efficiency silver front-side metallization paste at the PV Taiwan International Photovoltaic Exhibition.

The new Heraeus SOL9641A series front-side silver paste raises the conversion efficiency of solar cells by 0.1%. According to the company new metallization paste comes with superior adhesion for PERC cell and is compatible for both multi and mono crystalline wafers.
