Gujarat-based KPI Green Energy has received a Goods and Balance of System (BoS) package from Adani Green Energy and its subsidiary. KPI Green, in a regulatory filing, said it received orders for the supply of goods from Adani Green Energy and onsite services for Adani Green Energy Six Limited for a Balance of System (BoS) package for an aggregate 534 MW solar power project at Khavda, Kutch, Gujarat.
KPI Green said in a regulatory filing that the scope of work includes manufacturing, procurement, packing, transportation, factory acceptance tests, and the supply of commissioning spares, mandatory spares, consumables, and associated materials.
The scope of onsite services in the Balance of System (BoS) package includes receipt, unloading, storage, installation, testing, commissioning, civil, mechanical, and electrical works, handing over, and performance guarantee testing for the solar power projects.
These orders are aligned with its strategy to scale up its BoS and EPC capabilities across marquee renewable energy developments. The projects are scheduled to be executed in a phased manner, in accordance with the timelines stipulated under the respective contracts.
Supporting Adani Green's 11.94 GW Of Solar Portfolio
The announcement comes on the same day that Sineng Electric annouinced supplying over 576MW PCS(Power conversion system) for Adani Green, also in Khavda. Adani Green has set a target of 30 GW of renewable capacity in Khavda. The first of Adani Green's plannd BESS projects is expected to come up in Q4 Fy26 or Q1 of FY 27.
Indian renewable energy company Adani Green Energy currently operates 11.94 GW of solar capacity, 2.17 GW of wind capacity, and 3.12 GW of hybrid projects, taking its total renewable energy portfolio to 17.2 GW. The company has set a target of scaling its total installed capacity to 50 GW by FY30.The management has expressed confidence about adding over 7 GW of capacity every year from here to meet its targets.
Adani Green further stated that it added 5.6 GW of renewable capacity over the last year. Of this, 3 GW of greenfield capacity was added during the first nine months of FY26, compared to 0.4 GW during the same period of FY25.
