After days of profitability, the majority of the green stocks today suffered a setback. Barring a few companies, most of the Indian listed solar companies reported a decline in their stock prices. This is despite the encouraging market indices. Only four renewable energy stocks reported an increase in their values. The highest stock price rise was reported by the solar EPC company, Sterling & Wilson, which reported a 4.28% rise in its stock price. Others that benefited from today included KPI Green Energy, which reported bagging new orders today and ACME Solar, which recently reported commissioning its 75 MW solar project at Sikar in Rajasthan. Most of the other firms reported negative growth.
