On a day when the stock market indices indicated sluggish growth, listed Indian green companies were no different. Most of the Indian green stocks today reported negative growth with only two exceptions-Borosil Renewables and Gensol Engineering. Whole Borosil Renewables are enjoying the brighter days owing to the better-expected avenues to the imposition of anti-dumping duties against solar glass imports, Gensol stocks went up after it reported bagging a new EPC order for a solar project in Punjab.
Genosl stock today saw a marginal 0.12% gain as it secured its first large turnkey solar project from a steel product company in Punjab of 22 MW. Among the companies in the green stock list, Waaree Renewables and Shakti Pump saw a major drop of 3.69% and 3.71% respectively.
