GEDA Invites bid for 1.2 MW Solar Rooftop Plant Tender for District Hospital

Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has invited bids for 1.2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at North Goa and South Goa District hospitals, 600 KW for each. 

The last date to submit the bid is January 20, 2023, and the bids will be opened on the same day.

This GEDA 1.2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar tender includes the scope of work in complete design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning of 1.2 MW solar PV projects including 05 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services of the project.  

The North Goa District Hospital’s solar project’s estimated construction cost is Rs. 2,56,15,000/- & for the South Goa District Hospital solar plant is Rs. 2,56,15,000/-. All interested bidders will have to pay Rs. 2000 (+18% GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. The selected bidder also will be required to submit Rs. 6,000 as a tender processing fee. 

Each interested bidder will have to submit Rs. 10,28,600/- as an earnest money deposit (EMD)/bid security amount. Also, the successful bidder is required to provide a Performance Bank Guarantee equal to 5% & 2.5% as a Security Deposit of the total contract value.

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted solar power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of solar power plants. 

the minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X X MW (Capacity in MW bidder is bidding) X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The minimum net worth of the bidder should also be 90 lakhs/MW for the last financial year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
