A leading indigenous solar manufacturer, Gautam Solar has increased its G2X series with the introduction of high-efficiency and high-performance 450 Wp solar modules with larger M10 cells to improve the quality of solar products and accelerate the adoption of solar energy in the nation.

The 450 Wp – M10 Modules from Gautam Solar are lightweight and small, making them easier to handle, especially for rooftop solar installations. The modules are simpler to lift and carry up the steps. Because the modules are lightweight and simple for workers to handle, this lowers the rate of breakage. These modules further reduce the costs associated with the module mounting framework. Compared to the normal four purlins for the higher-wattage M10 modules, they only need two purlins to be installed.

The modules have dimensions of 1,923 mm x 1,134 mm x 35 mm and provide 206.4 W/m2 of power per unit area as opposed to the 545 Wp Modules’ 210.8 W/m2. Compared to the advantages it offers, the negligible trade-off of 2% Power per unit area is essentially trivial. Round ribbons and multi-busbar technology are used in the modules to improve light usage and lower internal resistance losses.

Monofacial and bi-facial versions of the modules will be available. The module has high-quality monofacial and bi-facial cells and is a 120 half-cut PERC monocrystalline module (depending on the variant).

The company’s manufacturing facility in Haridwar, Uttrakhand, is producing the new modules. The facility recently increased its annual production capacity to 400 MWp, with plans to soon increase it to 1 GWp.

Recently, Gautam Sola achieved the milestone of selling 100 MW solar modules under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category. DCR modules manufactured solar modules and solar cells manufactured in India on an indigenous level.
