Gamesa bags 12MW Solar Deal in Tamil Nadu

The latest order expands the company’s Indian solar power portfolio to 60 MW. In late January, Gamesa unveiled a deal to build a 15-MW solar farm in Tamil Nadu. So far, the company has commissioned a total of 12 MW of solar capacity in the Asian nation.

Gamesa’s expansion into the solar sector aligns with its goal to explore opportunities in businesses that complement the wind industry, added the company.

The firm expects the facilities to be completed this quarter.
