The company bolstered its presence in India’s electric bus market by securing major supply orders, including a high-profile contract for 327 electric buses for Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). It also deepened its strategic partnership with BYD India, placing an order for 2,325 electric bus chassis, including models like the K9, C9, and K7, aimed at expanding its EV product offerings. Olectra also maintained a strong market position, capturing 17% of India’s electric bus market in 2024, as per Vahan registration data.
