ET Energy to Build a 61MWp Solar Project for UiTM in Malaysia

The project was awarded in the first round of the Large Scale Solar PV project bidding program, and the 61MWp solar power plant will be connected to the grid before the end of 2018.

(” NWEPDI “), China Power Engineering Consulting Group, an EPC contract to carry out a turnkey project with UiTM Solar Power, a major local developer of photovoltaic solar energy. Under the agreement, the three companies are committed to building a 61MWp solar power plant in Malaysia.

Specifically, more than 220,000 solar modules will be installed on a 110-hectare plot located in Gambang in the municipality of Kuantan (Pahang State). The project was awarded in the first round of the Large Scale Solar PV project bidding program, and the 61MWp solar power plant will be connected to the grid before the end of 2018. The green electricity generated by the solar power plant will be enough to meet the needs of more than 80,000 households.

ET Energy, as a provider of energy solutions until the delivery of keys, will work with NWEPDI to offer a comprehensive service of engineering, contracting, construction, operations and maintenance.
