Enfinity Continues Italian Conquest with 97 MW Agreement

Italy based firm A2A Group, which supplies energy solutions, has joined hands with Enfinity Global by way of a power purchase agreement (PPA) for three of Enfinity’s solar projects in Lazio, Italy. The three projects account for a cumulative capacity of 97 MW. The agreement begins to take shape in July 2025.

A2A Group is the second largest player in the renewable energy sector in Italy.

Lorenzo Giussani, Head of Generation and Trading at A2A, concluded, “Thanks to our partnership with Enfinity, we are able to make an increasing share of green energy from renewable sources available to our customers, and at the same time we continue to enable investments in plants that can support the path toward energy transition and decarbonization of the country.”

Enfinity’s rising share in Italy

Other than this, Enfinity Italy also boasts 500 MW fully permitted solar power plants with 1.8 GW capacity of solar power plants which are in advanced permitted stages. The firm has another 2 GW of storage projects in the country.

Some noteworthy projects that Enfinity has in the Lazio region of Italy entail a 72 MW solar PV power project, 112 MW capacity in three utility-scale solar power plants in Italy. The agreement with Statkraft for the latter was signed in December last year.

In India too, Enfinity Global has announced the addition of 205 MW of solar capacity. The global RE conglomerate said that the feat has been achieved through the interconnection of renewable projects worth 135 MW in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The company has also acquired six operational projects from Rays Power Infra in Telangana and Karnataka states.
